I got my permit a couple of weeks ago, and I've embarked on that frightful journey of.... GETTING MY LICENSE I'll probably go driving again this afternoon. I seem to have trouble turning, and my father has made motions with his feet as though he wanted to hit the brakes Anyone care to share their driving stories here? (Apologies if this is the wrong section, I couldn't find an appropriate one).

I'm an insanely slow driver. =O My dad is always telling me that I'm allowed to put my foot on the brake. =P My mom cries every time I drive because he little girl is growing up. -.- 4 months, 15 days till I get my permit.

I went driving once. With my dad. Got cramp in my foot, burst into to tears and went home. Your toes are not supposed to point that way. It's not right.

I failed the practice online test and can't really be bothered memorizing the book, so I've been procrastonating on the driving front xD

I've heard that our test to get a permit is 10 questions and asks questions such as "True or False? Red means go."

Wow Mine was 20 questions, mostly multiple choice with some road sign ID thrown in. Stuff about right of way, what to do when you see a yield sign, etc.

Yeahhh. If our test was any harder, we'd have like...no drivers on the road.
Which may or may not be a good thing. =O

XD If they can't pass, it's a good thing.
I'm signed up for driver's ed this summer.. 6 weeks of two - three hour a day classes from July - mid August. I'm told it's fun, but I don't know...

The kids I know...it's probably better that they never ever ever drive. DX
Driver's Ed seems like it could be fun. Maybe it's just because I'll be taking it with one of my besties and the teachers who teach it are the ones that you would most expect to have road rage....

Having been in D.E. for three weeks, I can say it's not all that fun. D: And driving with my mom is awful because she keeps screaming, especially when I'm trying to parallel park. I need to stick to going with my brother for practice driving. x.X

Parallel parking looks a lot of fun. Just go in backwards and turn!!

Bahaha I wish it were that easy. T_T I always end up too far back or too far to one side or another.

PARALLEL PARKING. It is not fun to do in real life. It is not fun to do in a virtual computer game. It is not fun to watch your mother attempt. It is not fun when there are meters on the curb. It is not fun when you're in a mini van. Parallel parking is just not fun. I also probably won't get my permit until next summer, even though I could have had it by October. It'll be a little annoying to watch my stupid classmates driving around this year, but you guys' late and/or nonexistent permits make me feel a little better.

*has already made plans to be real late for school in order to get permit* By the looks of my schedule, I won't miss anything very important sounding and I can miss the first four classes and still be able to go to field hockey practice. =P
