I challenge anyone to see these babies and not go "AW" immediately >:/ My mother and I went to the pet store at the last minute today in order to buy my fishie, Siren, a friend. Siren has just seemed so dispondant since Ulyssese died that we had to go and get them someone new to wobble around the tank with and bump into Well, when we got there we found a bunch of new kittens just brought into the store. I barely noticed them at all but when I did I just melted xD My mum came over and we spent a good long while petting the kitties. She fell in love with a feisty ginger cat and I fell in love with this calicow with a ginger patch and this soft grey kitten with a white nose, tail tip and two paws. However that was just asthetic love, when we had a play with them neither of the kittens I loved were very thrilling (the grey had apparently been abandoned in a park, who knew what it had been through!) but this other kitty caught our attention immediately So, anyway, my animal count just went up two kittens xD The ginger is a boy and the other is a girl. They're so cute and sweet xD

Oh, also, while we were at the pet store looking at fishies, we saw this dead fishing being eaten by the other fishies. Then this fish skeleton floated by the tank and it was awesome xD

*scarred* That is not cool, Anne! I woke up to that once! It is GROSS. ... Oh, I have an aquarium in my room, if you guys didn't know. xD Honestly, I would have preferred that the fish just disappear like most of them do, rather than that unpleasant experience. Most of the time, we'll have six fish, and then the next day it will be five, and we'll never find any trace of a skeleton or anything. It's creeepy. xDD

xDDD I only have one fish, whom I dubbed "Frantic" because he is the most spazzy, freaked out, hyper, goldfish I have ever seen. He's four years old, and he's still alive.
And that's it for the pets. I love dogs, but my parents don't.

I have the good fortune of being born to a mother who loves, and is game to have any kind of animal. She really, really adores having them (She's so motherly!). The exceptions however, are certain breeds of dogs, rats&mice ('cause they're always in the darn roof), rabbits (only because of a horrid rabbit we had once, she does like the animals but doesn't want the have them again) and one other I can't seem to think of right now '.'

DX *wants to witness a fish skeleton being torn apart in a public fish tank* It was pretty awesome in a morbid way. They were still picking at the bones, too xD It was really gross but fascinating to watch. I would have been less inclined to it had it been my own fish, of course. Luckily my fav fish - the black moors - don't really eat their dead. They're a bit too stupid to notice them.

My friends fish cannibalised itself by eating it's own foot.
I think we /may/ still have goldfish in our garden pond.
Jo would also like to see a picture of Jen's aquarium ;-;

*chuckle* Fortunately, I guess? xDD I think it'd be interesting to see... in a really, really sadistic manner xDD It was pretty funny because we didn't see the skeleton right away. We were staring at this dead fish up the top that was being picked at by the other fish, marvelling at how we'd never seen that before xD Then this skeleton just floated from the bottom left of the tank to the top right and the two of us were just left to stare. "O.O" Right before we saw the canibal fish we were looking at some guppies swimming around with these pretty shark-looking algae eaters. We sort of wanted one but didn't know if the tank had to be heated or not so my mother just dipped her finger in briefly. Me: *watches he skeleton float by* Don't put your finger in that tank...

OH! And that isn't what all our furniture looks like by the way. That's what my siblings and I call "the trailer trash chair" - its a really, really old armchair that my mum has outside so she can sit comfortably and look at her garden. But its fully closed off so no one can SEE it from the street. The cats like to claw at it...
We joke that our mum will end up being the lady from the simpsons who sits on he rporch with her shotgun xD
