I like nutella with peanut butter, but nutella with sprinkles does indeed sound disgusting.

The first thing my sister asked when I told her I was making you do this, was if I'd told you to try it with natella or not xD

xD According to one of my (Dutch) friends, the only reason America exists today is because the Dutch helped them in the Revolutionary War. .... I /think/ she was joking.

I thought it was the French who helped them during the Revolution against the Brits? The only thing the Dutch seem to do is discover things first only to give them up either for free or pathetic sums of money, effectively stripping their nation of profitable things.

'Tis true, the French helped America in their revolution, and then when France tried to get America's aid in their own revolution, we said "Screw you, we have to build our own nation. Fund your wars yo'self." Ohhhh America. Some things never change. We hoard our monies.

Most likely, the Dutch actually did help us, since New Amsterdam/New York was so full of them.
Ha, my mom was French in another life.

Actually, we give our money and resources out like candy, we just don't do it well. ): This is the unfortunate truth. I seem to recall the French being a major source of discontent between Brits and the colonies anyway - a need for $$ to protect colonies from French invasion or something (French and Indian/7 years war, right?) was the reason for all the taxes, especially the Stamp Act, yes?

I'm pretty sure it was French and Indian War yes, then Britain enforced the taxes and Stamp Act because they needed money which they lost in the FAI. I don't remember all the Wars that start with # Years, there's too many of them and I got lazy at that point. And the Dutch probably did aid us as well, I'm not really an expert.

All I know is what I've remember from our horrid sub in history. D< Which is basically that lots of different countries aided America against the British because Britain was more powerful. xD We haven't gotten to the French Revolution yet. *emphatically not a history person*
