I got a letter telling me that my chosen course has been altered slightly. Rather then being six months worth or work and a mixture of Industry Design, Business and Contemporary crafts, these have now all been split up into three different duel courses and will now last a whole year! My only qualm is that now Graphic Design is separate from all the others I wanted to do, but that's okay - I can always do another course later if I really want to. So, come Jan I will be studying Design Fundamentals and Visual Arts and Contemporary Craft. This covers drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, textiles, jewellery and design. Should be fun!

The new format sounds a bit more focused to me, and all of that sounds firmly in your league Bet you'll be enjoying yourself ^^

That sounds so cool! It's always better when it's longer, because that does mean more focused!

Ooh, sounds like it'll be fun! *fails at artsy stuff* There's a pottery class at school that I wanted to sign up for, but it's $65 and they want cash, so my extra scholarship funds are useless :/

I'm awful at sculpting. I've always bombed the spacial awareness tests that make you visualize 2D block images in a 3D text, or pick which 3D square object thing out of five is a different angle of *designated 3D object*. xDD I think I am getting better as time goes on but... I don't think it will ever be my forte.

I'm better at working on the wheel then doing it by hand, but I'm okay. I've been "sculpting" for a few years now, and I have a whole big long table full of plates and vases and the occasional figurine.
The course you're taking sounds like a lot of fun. Very messy, but fun.
