All the snow here has melted. It is currently 60 degrees outside. -.-

It's gorgeous, spring-like weather over here. In the 40s, but there's lots of sun with a slight breeze, and all the snow is gone.

It was raining. But it's *lovely* because soon, the ground will be all wet nasty with the melted snow and the added rain and it'll all turn to Ice. -.- One year that happened, we had a foot of solid ice. It was the grossest thing.
That was the year there was an accident because of black ice and my bus couldn't finish it's route and we were all late to school and we thought someone had died...

It's... wet, windy, and warm here. Very april-ish, and no snow to speak of.

That's hot. Very hot. It doesn't even get like that here in the peak of summer.
Max would be like...90ºF? It rarely even gets there. But it can be like, 80 and have like 283957394857% humidity, making it feel like say, 100º.

It gets that here in the peak of summer xD Worse we haven't been getting the Freo doctor (that's a wind that comes in the afternoon from over the cost, usually upwards from the city Fremantle just south of perth). Since it comes from over the ocean its cooler, however there hasn't been ANY wind at all (except up north where they're in their cyclone season right now) and at the moment even wind from over the desert would be nice.
Fun fact you learn when your dad is a (former) surfie and beach junkie: Wind from over the desert is called an Easterly. Coming from the desert it tends to be hot and dry. However as it moves <- that way over the coast, a good easterly will ensure that there will be small swells/waves. Good if you have children/are a sissy, bad if you're a surfer.
A westerly wind coming in from the ocean is cool and usually damp. These happen in the late afternoon, usually after the peak heat of the day. Often a westerly is referred to as the Freo doctor as it resolves all the heat and unpleasantness caused by an Easterly/no wind at all.
I have shared this with you because I think its cool 8) P.S I used to be able to spot rips.

That's pretty interesting! I fail with any sort of weather thing so it's good to know. Also, poor you; that is some ridiculously hot weather. D: Do you guys get droughts often?

Ha, Anne's dad sounds awesome. I mean, /my/ dad doesn't know how to surf. Even just wading scares him.
*is happy with her 10-ish degree (Celsius) weather*

I take after my dad in the sense that we are water...resistant. Neither of us can swim. XD
I like knowing the names of certain winds and kinds of weather they bring and such. But the only one I can thing of is a Northeaster, which is basically just like, a week of heavy winds, rains and hail.

Those terms would of course only be relevant if you lived on the west coast of somewhere, right?
And those temperatures sound pretty normal for midsummer to me. xD Unless your summers are humid hot, which I doubt considering you mentioned being near the desert.

Probably relevent only here, Sorie xD Most of my state east of the coast is in fact desert. I'm sure it would be much different for your wastern coast, what with those mountainythings xD Perth is right near the coast and built on a river, so we do get humid days in summer a lot, actually. We have lots of desert here but our state is huge and it tends to start far from the costal areas where we tend to populate. We've been in a drought for about 12 years, Ice, which is why we have water restrictions. This was apparently caused by what's called the 'El Niño' effect that has been hovering around the country for as long as the drought. Its started to weign however and the 'El Niña' effect has taken over
