... that cats actually climbed trees. But today I was walking back to our building, and there's this rustling in the bushes, and a cat (followed by a dog) shoots straight up a tree. It decides this tree isn't tall enough, jumps off, and goes up the next tree. xD My excitement for the day.

xDD You didn't know that? Growing up, I would always see that sort of cliche moment where a cat's in a tree and a dog's barking at it, or a fireman needs to save a cat that can't climb down.
And Anne's sister's friend. xDDDD I'm dead. I'm assuming that she never saw ducks on land?

xDD I always thought it was a sort of, uh... urban legend? Something people talk about, but doesn't actually happen.
Hahaha, I'm glad I'm not there. Yet.

She had seen ducks on land but always sitting down. She and my sister were at one of the lakes that spot Perth abnd one sitting on the grass stood up and started walking. She was SO surprised tha they actually had legs. However in her defense she was very sheltered. Her parents ALWAYS worked in the family's restaurant so she didn't exactly get a lot of worldly exposure.

Did they make duck in that restaurant?

I think they did, so you would wonder why she would never have seen duck legs when typically, in chinese restaurants, they'll hang the cooked ducks up by their legs.

XDD That's so priceless. I suppose she never heard about people looking like ducks--seeming to be moving effortlessly but underneath the water their legs are paddling like crazy.

My cat liked to climb trees. Back when we had her in a harness. Don't ask.
And...the duck story, doesn't surprise me in the least and your friend slightly reminds me of myself. Though I have always known that ducks have legs. I was once chased by a goose twice my size. That has nothing to do with ducks really, but I *was* on a duck sanctuary...
NUT I HEARD On the news that a plan crashed into the Hudson and I wondered if you were still alive/had a house. And it crashed because there were birds the flew into the engine.
FUNNY STORY, that has nothing to do with it. The idiots on the local news are interviewing this lady. Idiot News Guy: Now on the line is some lady who was on the plane and coincidentally used to work for us! Lady: Well, I actually wasn't on the plane, four of my cousins were though. ING: So your were in New York picking them up? Lady: No, I'm actually in my home in western Massachusetts right now.
Idiots.

My dad finally stopped his combustion and I had a chance to make that duck. Sorry, but I forgot to make a unicorn (is that what you wanted? I forget. ).
