I ate at a restaurant tonight where all the plates/cups/"silverware" was biodegradable and there was a compost bin in the back. A covered one, thankfully. The food was also wonderful, but I just thought the forks and knifes were cool.
There were a lot of cats at this place as well. Jerusalem is a catty place. No pun intended.

xDD Cats!
Those forks sound neat, though one does wonder if disposable flatware is really necessary. Unless it's carry out (that would be awesome).
There are plants growing out of our compost (it's not covered, but far away from the house that the insects are no bother). I need to figure out what they are and decide if I want to transplant them somewhere.

I saw biodegradable, recycled flatware just before christmas. I thought about getting you some but someone had snapped prongs off of all the forks :/ They were pretty cool and were apparently re-usable. They just wouldn't be a bother when they were eventually discarded.

My school enthusiastically uses biodegradable flatware. In fact, I played a microscopic role in one of our videos about it. When I work up the effort, I'll go find it. (it was posted on the Tube of You's)
