Ranting about stink.

Yes, literally stink.
I have this horrible odor in my room.
And I can't find the source of it.
And when you walk into the room, it hits you as if you were getting hit with a pie.
Only not as tasty.

My window has been open for the past few days.
Which hasn't made a difference.
So I wasted half a bottle of Fabreeze.
Which didn't work.
And I have two air fresheners near where I think the source may be.
They aren't working either.

Anyone have any suggustions for making the foul oder go away?

Something terrible lurking under your bed? Maybe you should move everything out and see if you can find the source D; Or, just move everything around or something.

Do you think any has hidden old prawns in your curtain pole? That gives off a very whiffy stench indeed.

Methinks so, Lauren. I know it's a daunting task (I've had to face the beast a few times myself), but I'm sure you can do it!

Prawns are similar to shrimp, not sure if they're quite the same. If you have curtains in your room, then someone could have stuffed the rod with them, if it's a hollow one.

Shrimp in the curtain rod... that's even more crazy than what my idea was. xDD
So crazy in fact, I forgot what my theory was.

Which reminds me, I REALLLLLY need to tidy my room up, haha. It's tidy everywhere apart from a pile of clothes right in the middle, which has books and other crap circulating from around it.

I don't think my curtain poles are hollow...and you can't get to them to put anything in them. XD

My room is horribly messy at this point.
Like so dirty in fact, that despite the zen/asian theme and the small water fountain and the mass collection of earrings, you may think it's a teenage guy's room.

Walking in, you see the window, the floor underneath it is unseen because there is a suitcase with clothing I haven't unpacked from when I went to Chicago in August plus Footloose costumes that have yet to be washed.
Turning toward the dresser, you see a laundry basket with an overflow of clean clothes, most of which are on the floor.
Turning counterclockwise you see a large pile of boxes at the end of my bed which have been collecting dust for more than a year since I cleaned out my room before we redid it.
I'm a schlub.

Me too! An actual one in the floor with water and shit like that radiating from it. AND IT SHALL GLOW BLUE AND BE IN THE MIDDLE WITH A NAKED BOY POURING WATER FROM A JUG!

I hope not. And that doesn't seem to be where the stench is coming from.

It's sad. I've gotten used the the smell, so I don't feel the need to clean. XD

You must, you must find the smell. What would you do if I magically appeared at your house, ready to stay the night (for flying doesn't half take it out of you) and I walk in and THAT STENCH hits me?! how would you feeeeeel?!
I know I'd feel all faint and dizzy and possibly pass out. If it's as bad as you say it is.

And if you're wondering how I know where you live, it's easy. I FOLLOWED THE SMELL.
Seriously, I ended up in many stinky places before I got there.

Haha, only kidding. Ask your mam to find it for you. They do the 'mam's look'. It's very effective.
