Funny and embarrassing. My sister and I were at the bus stop and she wanted me to ring my mum to see if she would pick me up from my sister's house, otherwise I had to stay on the bus I was on. Half-distracted, I forgot that a) Mum was listed as 'Mum' and b) British Jo was listed in my phone at all. Now my new phone is cheap, so it doesn't have very clear audio. Jo and I had a whole exchange where I was all 'Mum? What? Huh? Mum-? ... Jill needs you to pick me up from her house' with Jo trying to convey she was not my mother. Finally, her voice came through clearly- "I'm not your mum." "Oh. *hangs up*" I thought I had just put the wrong number in my phone, then I finally noticed the: 'Call Ended Jo Luff' I burst out laughing. "I rang the wrong person - I rang Jo. I just made an international call!" Jo was kind enough to offer to pick me up anyway. Such a dear thing On a related note, I BOUGHT A FINGER CLAW THING. Its like finger armour. Fabulous. Edit: It looks cheaper in this picture then it does in real life >.> I love it. I'm remiss to ever take it off.

Hahahahaaa <3333333333
I answered in anticipation that you would yell something randomly amusing at me then hang up, purely on the basis that we had just e xchanged numbers the day before and it would be something fun to do, XD
Do you know how much it cost you? I bet it made your credit go down a fair bit!
RING. EST. AWESOME.
You own everything I own/want to own it's so cool. <3

Yes, that would probably have been my usual plan. I guess being called mum and told to come pick me up is fairly random No, I should ring and check xD I rang, the system is down. I think it has something to do with the iPod 4 release today. Because we know awesome when we see it

The best thing about this is, that a week ago, Aiya texted me, also thinkign I was her mum, asking me to pick her up from Uni. She didn't ring, but she did send a text a while after telling me she thought I was her mum and it was a mistake, XD
I offered to pick her up, however I told her that it'd take me around nineteen hours since it'd take that long for me to get there and kill anyone tailing me, inevitably it would be easier if she just got the bus.
I WILL NOT PICK ANYONE ELSE UP, OKAY?!

I have this paranoia of doing that, especially after adding Mel to my phonebook. She's right between Matt (my brother) and Mother. I used to hit 6 to get to the M's, then go down one to get to Mother, but now I have to scroll down two. I feel this is heading for a 3 AM (their time) call to China in the future.

Hahahaha, yeah xD Perhaps you should list her as 'L Mel'. It rhymes and would set her away from your family.

Then I would stare at it wondering what the L is for even though I know it's nothing.

I don't really associate her with Leopets actually.
THAT WOULD BOGGLE MY BRAIN. D;

I'm not cool enough for this thread. *locks self in the shed of isolation*
Though I do have Jo's number. I tried calling it once, but I don't believe it went through. I tend to worry about that kind of thing (contacting the wrong child) since one of my good friends is named Nicole, of which there are four in my phone. So I put a . in front of her name. It saved me lots of scrolling too, as she appears at the top of my contacts now.

My brother would tell me just to put my mother on speed dial, but that's lame. 8| When I was trying to text Nick on the train to New York it wouldn't go through because I didn't have a plus sign in front of the number. >

Pfft, SPEED dial. Lame. You could put her under ICE. That's what I did and it got my mum out of the various other Ms in my old contact list. ICE is your In case of emergency number so if you passed out again THEY WOULD KNOW WHO TO CALL.

I would text Jen but I don't know the area code for her. I have her number just not the whole international thing. I wouldn't even know where to look for mine.

You go to google and search for things like 'International phone codes, UK' or something along those lines.
