I'm not sure how many of you saw this on neo, but now it's deleted and I needed to rant again.
There's a long driveway going down to my school, at the top of which, close to the road is a sign stating that the location is in fact my school. So that's where, in the morning, the druggies do their thing. Today, there was a police officer not even 20 FEET away from this mass of scaries and since he couldn't have missed them... I was so angry. Why is the police department letting these youths get away with either A. smoking underage, B. possession of tobacco on school property or quite possibly C. possession of illegal substances. I was real big mad.

Did you get warned? Dx Neo fails, but I did see that post before I went to class.
I kinda know where you're coming from. Last year the students didn't care in the least that if enough of the middle school parents complained about the amount of cigarette butts on school property, it threatened the future of the entire adult ed. program. -_-
But I would be pissed if the freaking cop was right there....

Pfft, police don't care.
My Primary school and first high school were opposite each other. The roads sat like a +. At the top right was the Primary school and the bottom left was the oval end of the high school. The north line was a tall, sort of blind hill and the police would always hide and wait at the bottom to catch people whose cars were going a bit over because of the fact it was a hugely steep hill or those who didn't know it was technically a school zone (there wasn't a sign until half way down and it was obscured by bushes). It was blatant revenue raising because no one crossed anywhere near that hill. Everyone crossed at the north, south or east roads >.>
Meanwhile there were drags and horrible crashes going on at the other side of the high school but you never saw the police there >.>

Ridiculous! If it's tobacco, I believe the cops can't actually do anything about it, at least not in NY.
... Wait, that's on non-school property, sorry. What is wrong with your cops? D: Can't you complain, or get your parents to complain to the administration, at least?

Hahahahaha. Administration. Now /that's/ the joke. Me and my parents know quite well that nothing will be done.

I was just about to say that same thing. XD
Great news though. We had our first night game and the lights DIDN'T go out halfway through the game like I pretty much expected them to. XD

Yes, and overgrown with weeds. XD Though they are metal, we've graduated past wood. XD
Though I was at a night soccer game yesterday and the power in the press box randomly went out. Good times. XD

Yeah. But the windows are smashed and it's wood and hasn't been painted since the mid 90s I would guess. And it just got electricity with the new lights and all.
I would like to add to my original rant now. On Friday, two eighth graders over dosed on anxiety pills. One had a seizure and the other passed out. Both were taken to the hospital. The one who had the seizure is likely to die. I'm wondering if the drug awareness around here is going to pick up at all. I hate that it would have to come to a kid dying, but seriously, there's a girl on my field hockey team (and the sports kids are usually the non drug kids) who's having a weed party for her sweet 16 and another who does the same anxiety pills that those kids ODed on. I'd like to personally conduct my own drug raid on the school. DX

Eight graders? Dang. Take justice into your own hands, Lauren, the vigilante way! ... Yes? No? I'll just return to my corner, then.
