I thought it was real big cold over there in England... ...and you never get snow?
*watched a few snow flakes fall instead of paying attention in biology*

Oh it's cold. VERY COLD.
We get snow in January/February mostly. I don't remember the last time we had a white Christmas.

We didn't have a white Christmas last year. It sucked. Like, no one was in the 'Christmas spirit'. This year will most likely be white, as the idiots on the weather channel say it's supposed to snow tonight.

Whine, whine, whine, Lauren. At least they PREDICT snow. Our best bet for any sort of winter weather is rain for a week or two. :/ *hates it here*

New York is funny. Sometimes we get absolutely no snow at all, sometimes we get a little bit but only in January and Febuary, and then /sometimes/ we get full blown blizzards.
By the way, the photos are breathtaking, Moo.

Squeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! *flaps around like a little birdy with its wings chopped off* Flurries outside! Believe it or not, this is actually somewhat early for snow to be coming down here. It looks like dandruff.

The idiots on the weather channel were wrong. No snow. Though I did see a driveway covered in ice today, and that reminded me of how much I love snow but hate ice.

I haven't had any snow yet in Long Island. I wonder if the folks upstate have, though... I know my brother's university definitely got some.
On a somewhat tangential story, it was around 60 degrees out around a month ago and pine trees on campus were dropping their needles... only from a certain angle, the needles looked white and my friend and I were all, "OMG IT'S SNOWING!" I was all set to call my mom and ask her if she had any when we realized what the temperature was. XD

And why at 60 degrees? 60 isn't that cold at all, I mean, we get that sort of temperature HERE. I'm lost. xD

It was rather windy out so the needles were blowing off the tree. Also, the 60 degrees is only to note the impossiblity of snow at that temperature. *fails at narration* XD
