Sorie agrees. Off white-ish for the background of the posts, or perhaps that Christmas pastel yellow. And perhaps a dark green fontage?
All I know is this red is real big tacky.

I actually didn't want any gold at all but Monkey wanted me to attempt it because her avvie dies extra hard without it. I also don't want too much white or light colours because it conflicts with the banner. But the read IS tacky and the current cat backgrounds look like wood-grain lino benches form the 50s >.>
