I'm thoroughly disturbed. I went to Boston yesterday with my mother, and turning the corner, saw a riot of people in bathing suits crowded around a boom box jumping up and down and acting all happy. I wanted to know why they were so happy, because it was only about 25 degrees (3.8888888 for you Celsius folk) Walking about later, we encountered several young men running around in Santa hats and speedos. I later found out that it was the beginning of the annual Santa Speedo Run. DX www.santaspeedorun.com/about.php |

That's obscene. People can get away with anything ridiculous these days, as long as they justify it by saying they're also donating money to charities. That's nice, how about just donating the money, and then not streaking across Boston? Some walks I can understand, because they've got shirts and signs that advertise their cause, but these guys are just being ridiculous and using charity as an excuse to keep doing it. =/

That what I did from the riot of them.
I was like...let's go.
My mom was like, What if this is something historical? You should take a picture!
I was like...They're in speedos...I want...to go get something to eat now. XD
And we went off.
Then later on they ran by. One tried to high five me, but I have the reflexes of an old blind deaf lady in a wheelchair on medication. Therefore not reacting in time to stick my hand out. XD

Thought I'd share a little Aussie culture with you all 8) Even if I'm 80% sure I've done it before... There was this cool ad about how if you can't see the beach, speedos are just undies. In the ad this guy walks up from the beach through this harbour-side city where whenever a bus or people block the view of the ocean, the narrator goes 'undiesundiesundiesundies' until te obstruction moves, at which point he says quite happily 'bathers!' I'm inclined to agree with Sorie; how did you still have an apetite? xDD |

Ice cream XD It was a series of ads depicting the Rules of Summer, or something. It showed us how to properly emerge from the water and do different sexy hair flicks and something else I don't recall xD
