The Aftermath

I'm tired and possibly sick, so I'm just popping on to stick this here before it becomes... outdated? xD

Anyways, yesterday was Chinese New Year! Now it is officially the year of the cow. Exciting, yes? I wanted to get some pictures of the whole place knee-deep in red paper scraps left over from the firecrackers, but most of it was cleaned up. Nevertheless:

And, I figured that while I was taking pictures, I might as well jump on the bandwagon andd take some of my room.

My dresser, my pile of clothing, my candy-wrapper quilt, dictionaries, backpack, trumpet (on the floor), sports bag (also floor) and... general mess


My desk. xD In its normal state of chaos.


My bed! (and part of some of my stuffed animals)


Under my bed. xD Shelves with all sorts of junk, some of it just stuff my mom couldn't find anywhere else to put. Oh, and a buffalo poster. And my bean bag. (The big red thing on the chair, which is broken, which is why it's been relegated to my room.)

Wow, Mel! Fireworks looked brill! As if the Chinese are out the next morning tidying up! That would /nev/er happen here. We'd have to do it ourselves, haha.

Happy Chinese New Year! I can't wait until next week (odd timing, I know); there's this huge Chinese New Year thing for my dad's and a few other companies that all work together at this /amazing/ Chinese restaurant in Queens. DIM SUM!!!

Yeah, our digital camera has a special setting for fireworks. *is really happy with it* Dim sum is awesome!

Ah, lucky. xD I think I'm in love with black walls too, after seeing Monkey's room.

Haha yeah. I think I wanted carpet at first, but I like the wood better now. He does look better with a pillow on his head, doesn't he. xD

Monkey's room is what made me want black walls. But Last time I did my room, I couldn't convince my dad to paint them red. So I settled for one black one. He's letting me do a decent sized wall black too. =O
