Thanks guys.
I didn't get to be a little science nerd and go to the aquarium like I wanted to, because my stepdad got heavily drunk without us knowing it, so in the morning he didn't even know how to turn on the faucet, and my mom was afraid he'd had a stroke or something, so basically my whole day was screwed. =/ (he also sleepwalked, and knocked on my door at 6:30 in the morning, waking me up)
What just makes me mad is because he was the one making such a big deal out of it being my 16th birthday. Not just any birthday. Six. Teen. And then he went and spoiled the whole day. But. That's all it ended up being and we pretty much paid extra money because he refused to go to the hospital, since my mom didn't know he'd only drank a lot so she thought he was in serious trouble, so she had to call 911 to get him out of the house. So at ten o'clock instead of just waking up, I'm sitting alone in the house, munching on a TV dinner corndog staring at the turtleneck sweater my racist grandmother gave me.
I'll admit I snapped once and threw a couple of chairs to the floor, but after that my friend who was supposed to accompany me came over and we watched Planet Earth instead. We also took a walk and stalked my soulless ex-boyfriend (whoops... did I mention I have one of those?) and stood on his driveway for a while but he didn't come out, so we went back home and ate a whole box of Wheat Thins. I also still got to go out to dinner and eat my own custom cake, so the day wasn't a total disaster.
... I'm still well cheesed off though about my cancelled trip to the aquarium. We were gonna take a backstage tour. *pouts*
