I'll be turning 18 in June which means I will be able to purchase alcohol! Now, assuming I can get my hands on an ID that proves my 18ness by then, I want to go out and mark the occasion by buying my first cooking alcohol (since I don't drink). I just need to decide what!
I already have Sweet Cherry and Grand Marnier; I want to purchase something else besides those two. I haven't decided whether I want a traditional-sounding alcohol or something newer. We'll see. I do NOT want to purchase wine or beer.
List so far:
I think I just found my winner. Kirsch
And if you're wondering why I put it here, its because I'll forget about it in two days, let along three months! xD

List so far:
- Brandy: Dunno but its used in everything and is apparently very strong.
- Drambuie: Honey and herb-flavoured golden scotch whisky liqueur made from whisky, heather honey and a blend of herbs and spices. Suggested by Jo Sounds interesting and can be used with Beef, ice cream and some kind of cheese desert.
- Amaretto: Sweet almond-flavoured liqueur from Italy. Examples given were used in mousse and coconut Pie.
- Baileys: Irish whisky and cream. Pretty common, I think my mum keeps it around the house anyway. So maybe not.
- Cointreau: 'Triple sec' that taste like oranges. Use in Roast goose... okay hat's a no
- Kirsch: German colourless fruit brandy... Ooh, it sounds really nice. Apparently its used in swiss cheese fondue and MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE BLACKFOREST CAKE
I think I just found my winner. Kirsch
