Q. What is a Blobling?
A. Bloblings are baby Blobs that hatch from over-sized, glossy eggs laid by the Blob Mumma.
Q. What is a Blob?
A. Blobs are an all-species, all-design… gelatinous mass that have been floating around Leo for about a year now. You can view examples of Blobs on Midnight’s page, and on Anne’s devArt: notturna-x. (Bare in mind that the blobs listed on devArt were uploaded recently in alphabetical order, with old and new jumbled up together) Full-sized blob commissions are closed at this time.
Q. How long does it take for a Blobling to ‘hatch’?
A. Bloblings take about a day to hatch, sometimes longer. Not all eggs are laid at the same time and some blobs develop faster then others, or are otherwise a little shy and are reluctant to emerge from the safety of their eggs.
Q. Why are Blobling eggs so big?
A. Bloblings’ clothes grow and develop in the egg right along with the Blobling itself. Extra space is required for said garb to grow and then space is required for the Blobling to get dressed before emerging.
Prices:
It costs 5k-10k to get a Blobling egg of your own. This includes both egg and Blobling. The more complicated (clothing, hair, accessories) the Blobling is, the more it will cost. It will never exceed 10k and will probably average around 7k.
Types of Bloblings:
I offer three kinds of Bloblings. They are:
1. Bloblings designed after a given reference image or description
2. Non-specific Blobling modelled after a designated theme interpreted by me (for instance, fairies, pirates; whatever)
3. Lucky-dip Blobling. (Specify a price range and leave it up to fate xD)
Please note: Because of their restricted size, bloblings can only fit so much on them. Preferably the most a blobling can wear is hair, hair accessories, hats, wings and one body accessory (a neck tie, a shirt or a bottom of some kind) but at a push I can probably add more, however unadvisable. So when ordering a blob-type 1, please let me know which aspects of the character you most-want included (ie. “I’d prefer the pants over the shirt and the heart clip instead of the star crown”)
