Su, I came back from my french lessons about two hours ago. After 3 hours of class, I can now say and spell my name I feel so very proud. *laugh* We learned other stuff but I have to go back through my notes to remember it precisely. I only had five hours sleep and by the last half hour was half asleep. I am however, quite adept at picking up the proper pronunciations and am the only one in the class who can roll my 'r's. At last my previous Italian classes are proving beneficial! I also happen to be the youngest xDD There are five old-old people, one middle-aged woman and two guys in their mid-to-late twenties. They were all impressed by my spelling of 'Sophie'. Yey me. I like my teacher, she's quite young and very happy and friendly. She sort of laughed at how we said and pronounced some things, particularly a couple of common French names that we massacred.

ALL FRENCH'D UP AND NO PLACE TO GO. Meat Loaf seems to have a song for every occassion! Huzzah for him. ANYROAD. HI! That sounds really great, ^-^ I hate French with all my heart BUT I AM HAPPY FOR YOU I SWEAR. I myself would love to learn a new language (not a dead one like Latin...) Not sure anywhere around here would teach Welsh, Irish Gaelic or Afrikaans to be quite honest, but I can try. Glad you found something to do,

Three years of spanish and I still can't roll my r's. =O
Though an adult language class sounds quite fun to me, not be graded and such. XD

o.o I don't know how r's go in Italian but I've certainly never though that rolled r's are the same in Spanish and French. I kind of gargle my throat like I'm about to spit for les R's. xD Don't worry, it doesn't take very long to pick up the pronunciation patterns at all. You'll be parlering like a French resident in no time. =D *just murdered conjugation*
Also, *jumps on Jo's shoulders* HI.

They're rolled a little differently but its easy to transfer the technique.
