It turns me on. Just for funsies, I took some photos of the traveling wardrobe I picked up off the curb on trash day a couple years ago. (x I love it pieces despite it being huge, heavy, dirty, and broken. I accidentally broke the lock so it no longer opens, but don't worry, we did have it open once when I first got it, so I'm certain there isn't a body in there or anything. The thing I'm most depressed about is the disappearance of the pretty, old key. ;-; Someday, I'll hopefully be able to afford to take it to a pro to fix it up. ^Cute old address label from American Railway Express Co. dating the wardrobe to sometime before 1929.

That has to be THE BEST curb find ever. Whoever ditched it was an ass.

BWAHA! I completely broke the lock and opened it. xDDD I don't know if the inside is original, but it's survived really well. I think the cushion may be original. There is a nice set of drawers, some hangers, a briefcase thing that comes out, and a cloth garment bag-like thing that I don't really know what it is inside the wardrobe. The hangers are weeeeeird.

That looks similar to something I dropped a while back...
How...big is it? It looks like you could pack a few little people in there. XD

xD Haha, it's great! The hangers are fun-looking.
*nods* Yeah, if they let you take it as carry-on, you can sneak people onto the plane. ("Those? Those are just the... life-size dolls I carry around. Can't sleep without them, you know?")

I meant to post this yesterday, but I forgot after I took the photo. I pushed the wardrobe right up against the door because it was the best size comparison I could think of at the time. You can see that it's taller than the door handle... I'm searching for the tape measure, but it seems to have disappeared. Mel: If only they didn't have those damn size and weight restrictions, we could totally get away with only one plane ticket!

I wouldn't want to be put in that thing. The lock broke once, I wouldn't trust it not to do it a second time. Besideswhich, you would have to take out all those lovely draws to fit someone in and there might be an accident and the hanger could break and all sorts of other nasty stuff.

All seriousness must be taken into account in the protection and preservation of old-world smex.

Maybe we'll have to buy one that hasn't been preserved well for our people smuggling purposes. *ponder ponder*
