As some of you know, I got my STAT sample questions Tuesday. STAT (Special Tertiary Admissions Test) is the test that I have to take to get into uni. It is comprised of two parts; a multiple-choice of 70 questions, half comprised of Verbal Reasoning the other half Quantitative Reasoning; and a Written English exam which includes two written essays, one Argumentative and one Personal. I was extremely worried about the multiple choice, however since receiving the sample questions I'm not nearly so worried. There are a few that have proven a little startling and I just now realised how long it has been since I last read a graph, but I think I'll be okay. Think. This is one question that took me by surprise. I was happily drawing circles in my mind and WHAM xD I used to be very good at algebra, however that was... 5 years ago and I haven't touched it since then.

That looks awfully like those murderous math questions I had to do in school xDD *has zero talent for math*
Still, you've got quite a lot of tests to do, don't you? Essays, math, and all?

Very murderous xD I used to be good at algebra, but looking at it now I've realised I remember absolutely nothing from previous schooling. Thankfully the other math they have is fairly straight forward... sort of.
Lots to do, yeah xD I have two sets of sample questions and they're both vastly different in terms of my own ease of comprehension. I'm pretty much praying that whatever questions I get wont be too beyond me, especially when the test will be at 8:45am on the other side of the city xD

Thaty's horribly early xDD I think I'd be more intimidated than you, though, since it's math. You'll do better

What?
I'm just going to assume I have yet to cover circles in planes in school.

They explain how they work on the top half of the page. Its' pretty easy actually, and once I got the answer I understood it, however I wouldn't have come up with it myself xD Thankfully all the questions are self-contained.

Is it C, C, and C?
I haven't done questions like that since the good ol' SAT.
