I've decided to clean my room and so far I've made a decent start. Can't promise I'll finish, but I'll try to try to try.
Anyway, it's been so long since I cleaned my room that there are plastic bags under the layers of clothes that have started to break down o.o

ROFL @ plastic bag decomposition
I tidied a little bit of my room yesterday, too. I had a huge giant (not exaggerating) pile of papers in the middle of my room (stories and Uni work mostly, some random fliers I got at the Freshers Fair in my first year of Uni o.0) and I decided to tidy up. Obviously, this means that the stories stayed and the Uni work got put in a bag to be recycled. But I digress. The point is that I tidied a little. I really need to hoover but I got a rug for Christmas so screw that *sweeps everything under it*

Pfffffft. Union JACK. I am proud to be an AMERIKANNNN, where at least I know I'm FREEEEEEEEE. Oh yes, and they're sure to remind you of that. Every.Single.Movie.Made. It annoys me when films, no matter what country or historical timeline they're in, provided it has themes of people fighting for freedom, sports an inspirational speech that sounds like something from the presidential acceptance. 'Freedom and libertyyyy. Freeberty!!!! P.S America Rocks. Onward knights - to Camelot!'

Well, films wouldn't be fun if their heroes started shouting 'Dictators! Oppression! and P.S North Korea rocks', would they? xDD

I'm so going to make a film where they say all that, Nick. Oh yes... -ponders, cackles and rubs fingers together-
Actually I'd probably get sued so no D:

Yeah but you can write and inspirational speech without it sounding like it came from an American politician. If the movie shares any of 'the AMerican values' Hollywood has this tendency to over-emphasise them and it ruins the speech.
Look at Aragon and Théoden's speeches in The Return of the King. They're really effective, appropriate to the scene/setting and get the point across without using America's favourite buzz words over and over.
Of course the fact it was written by a British man and adapted by a NZder probably helped heaps.

It'd make LOTR look cheap if Aragorn or Theoden had just rehashed American buzz words xDD The whole magic of LOTR was that it felt really authentic and inspirational without being corny ^^ And Jo, you don't need to make one I'll bet you just need to tune in to N. Korean primetime TV xDD

Exactly, but they've made heaps of characters look cheap by doing that. That's my complaint xD
And you would know all about tuning into N.Korean primetime, wouldn'tcha Nick?!
