I have a vision. A beautiful and wonderful vision of filling a giant glass canister I have with lollies, which will be separated into their respective colour groups and layered in the canister to form a rainbow. Talking to Monkey, I was trying to decide if I would have the red lollies at the top or the bottom, considering red lollies always taste the best and purple the worst. Were it me personally, I think I would have red at the bottom, but what would I do if I gave it as a gift? Would I put the red on the bottom just to be a jerk?
Part of me says yes.
In any case during the conversation, Monkey and I established we both ate the worst ones first so as to finish with the best. I suppose this shouldn't be a surprise. We are (in the words of Anne of Green Gables) KINDRED SPIRITS.
So what about the rest of you? HOW do you eat your lollies? What are your favourite coloured lollies? How awesome would it be to have a giant bowl of m&ms on your coffee table?
Discuss.

I do this with skittles, leave the yellow and green ones until last (then usually shove them all in my gob at once, if I haven't already put them all into a bottle of lilt yet) but I don't really do it with anything else.

Yellow and green skittles together are awesome. <3 I also save those for last.

I basically eat all the purple ones first. I don't HATE the taste but as far as skittle hierarchy goes, they are bottom of the rung. Green (which wiki tells me is Green Apple flavour here instead of Lime), yellow and orange are then about on equal terms with each other, and finally my favourite is red.

For me it goes: 1. Eat the grape two by two. 2. Eat the strawberry two by two. 3. Eat the orange two by two. 4. Eat the lemon and lime together, one lemon and one lime, or two and two at a time. 5. Give any that didn't have pairs to someone else.

I partner my m&ms more then I do skittles. Naturally in that circumstance at least one colour goes in each cheek.

There was no option for my lollipop enjoyment. I only eat the purple, blue, green and chocolate pops, and throw the rest in a pile and let the animals that are my peers savage them. But I never get them in a bag or anything, because I don't care for them much. Usually I'm picking the purple ones out of a bowl at the bank or at student council.
Skittles must be eaten in the following order: 1. Red 2. Orange 3. Green 4. Yellow 5. Purple Yellow and purple is the best combination. Period.
M&Ms has to be eaten by color. It doesn't matter which order, because they all taste the same, but they must be separate.

Lollies = Candy. I'm just trying to avoid using American terms because they're taking over my vocabulary and soon I will be consumed.
I eat the brown M&Ms first because they ruin the flow of the other pretty colours.

You mean candy in general? Then how the hello did you make up your rainbow scheme? Were you basically talking about Skittles? Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttttttttt theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ficus.
Anyway, I save my favorite for last for just about everything in life, including consumption. I eat crusts first, so my last bites can be super soft with no disturbance. I eat the lemon flavor first in any given food. (if I can stand it at all) If I'm eating something that comes in a bunch, like fries, I'll eat the crunchy and/or burned ones first, and then eat the ones just the right texture.
Skittles: 1. Lemon 2. Purple, Orange 3. Green 4. Red (which I believe the package labels as Strawberry.)
I just eat M&Ms. I believe I usually grab them in two's though, so my hand can somewhat keep up with the vacuum on my face.

We call Lollypops Lollypops and 'candy' is Lollies. Lollies come in all colours and I planned to buy all different kinds. Way to go Sorie Your methods are wise. Though I love lemon flavoured stuff and just don't eat my crusts ¬.¬ Red skittles are Red Apple, aren't they? Sometimes its fun to just grab handfuls of m&ms and make like a hamster.

I would probably avoid eating the crusts full stop, but I have throwing-food-away issues. :c

We call "candy" sweets over here. Use that word? I like starbursts.
