I don't know how I want people to respond to this. I don't think I need advice, or maybe I do. I'm not sure, but I thought I might like the thoughts of people who don't know the person that this story involves.
I was on a three day student council conference, and there was a dance. Events happened, and I left, sobbing, with my best friend and her boyfriend. These events have nothing to do with the story.
So we return to the hotel room, and me and my friend go into one, and her boyfriend stands outside waiting for us to return.
The next room over was occupied by a fellow, a fellow that I am (but wish I wasn't) pretty fond of. He hears crying. And comes out into the hall and asks Matt who's crying. Matt responds "Lauren is." And the fellow slams the door in his face.
Now this wouldn't really bother me normally, but it does for a reason other than it's obviously rude to slam a door in someone's face.
This fellow, we're best friends, but we have a very odd relationship. Think of any crooked politician and you have his personality. Then think of me. Best friends with a strange twist.
Anyhoo.
This fellow is also quite the lady's man. Except when he's around me. If a girl wants a hug, he'll give her one, if a girl's crying he's there to ask what's wrong. But not...around me.
Now I'm definitely not a girl who's crying all the time, it's beyond rare for me to cry in public. So when I do cry, I don't want to sound weird, but it's extra important that people pay attention, because it's obviously something not good at all, and I really like hugs and probably need one.
So I was basically mad that he slammed the door as soon as he knew I was crying, but I'm pretty sure if it was anyone else, he would have come to inquire.
I post too many rant threads. XD
