So my dad came home one day from a bike ride, sat down on his chair and said "do you wanna go and look at the dogs at the RSPCA?" So we did. But there weren't any there. So he looked on the internet. And we found one A Patterdale. Kind of looks like that. I can't find the picture of him exactly. But we went today and choose him out and we'll be getting him next Monday ^-^ I found myself extremely excited on the inside, but not very emotional on the out. I think I've forgotten how to show happiness or something. Need to decide on a name, however! Any suggestions would be awesome. XDD My dad, as a laugh, suggested Nelson, and I really like that ATM. XDD

I like Nelson as well, actually. I think it rather fits for whatever reason. I would be calm on the outside and exploding within as well, no worries.

I like that one's little claws. They look like they could gouge your heart out. He reminds me of gloomy bear in that respect.

He's either gonna be called Winston, Nelson, Alex or Ailbhe if I have anything to do with it, which I bloody will.
I like Winston the most now.

Winston is always a great name for a dog. Ailbhe would fit him really well too, and as far as I know, there aren't a ton of dogs named that.

There aren't. I doubt there are many people named it, either. Even in Ireland. However, my parents don't like it. My mam doesn't really like the Irish.
But... Possible other name: Harry. Which both myself and my father like, currently. I think it might win.

You could do what my mum and I were considering with kitty. Calling him what we want and ignore the other's preference. All the dogs I've had came to whatever we called them, provided we said it in the right tone.
