So........ I don't quite understand. Was that in chronological order? Or did you come in to the open front door, hear the noises, ignore them, and then later discover the three of them in your doorway?

It was almost. We heard noises out the front but didnt realise it was someone out there until three people came in via the back door. The ones who actually got in the house made no noise at all and it was complete chance that I got up and saw them.
