We were pretty far from the front... But not nearly as far as some... The guys from Mythbusters had some fun with us: Jon's first appearance: Stephen's first 'appearance': Stephen finally makes it to the stage and soon lead the crowd in a Chi Chi Le Le chant: Sam Waterston, the most trusted and reasonable voice around, reads a poem Stephen wrote: And finally, DC squirrels are pretty cool:

Of course you went to this. xD That's actually pretty satisfactorily close in my opinion. Or wait. *just looked at the first picture* Did you get closer later, or did you zoom for the rest of the pictures? I didn't know satisfactorily was a word until I just now used it without being ambushed by the browser's grammar check.

I had to zoom quite a bit. At one point, I was standing on my tiptoes and taking zoomed photos over my head just to see what was going on because everyone in front of me was tall, but by the time the rally was half over, that was too tiring and I gave up on photos altogether, so I just listened to the rally and caught glimpses on the screens, which was fine with me.
There were a lot of people there. xD

Aw man, wish I could've seen this. The papers were reporting on it recently, but I didn't know you went for it! Awesome stuff
