I have a few photos to show to you lot, some have been waiting to be seen for a while, others find their origins of the weekend just passed.
My chickens, even more grown up. The one in the front turned out to be a rooster, so I've renamed him Roger. My mum and I are now fighting over the identity of the goldlaced female. I know she's Luxembourg but mummy is determined she's Versailles. BUT SHE ISN'T. It's all so annoying I may have to rename her Detroit.
We have a mini-orchard down the back. These are the plumbs, but we also have apricots, lemons, lime, oranges, mandarins and olive trees. Plus the fig tree up stairs. It's lovely having such fresh fruit at our disposal.
This is a garden spider (here 'garden spider' equates to a spider that isn't venemous and doesn't ever venture indoors. Funny how it's the poisonous ones that are drawn to the house). I call it the Bird Poo Spider and it is sitting on it's eggs in the photo. I've grown quite attached to it and the second it dies, I'm putting it in a little bottle to keep forever.
I've been volunteering as a gallery attendant. This is my badge.
Here I am eyeing people.
And when I got bored, I sat down and read a book xD
This is a Pink and Grey Cockatoo. We call them Cockies and Gallars. They are native to the Aus and I love seeing them.
This weekend I went to my cousin's wedding and we stayed at a beautiful place called the Karri Valley Resort. Nick should recognise the toy in this Monsieur Petit was my 'travel buddy' for this trip. Here he is conquering the balcony. When my mum saw the picture she laughed and called MP a d**khead xDD
Here he is, exploring the Karri Forest.
Here I am in the same forest. Lovely place. We went on a 2k walk and it was great.
Here is the father of the Groom. He went and bought some nuts especially for these parrots as they were wild but very keen on scabbing food, and he did not wish to make them sick giving them junk.
Here they've visited my mum and I.
This is the whooping duck. He has a strange grey flap coming off of his neck and he made a wHOOP noise. Very cute. We don't actually know if he's a duck or not, but he was very sweet and our favourite animal. Now I just have to find out what he actually is.
Here are the bride and groom
And here is MP riding my sister's travel buddy, Doug.
Believe it or not I had a few other pictures to show, but I forgot them and I'm not opening iPhoto again x.x;
