updates! what goes on? do not want dead board School is keeping me busy. I still need to finish applications for medical school. I have a lab report due tomorrow that I need to write. Also, my mom has restocked the house with far too much junk food. It's a good thing I'm not at home as much to eat it.

I have eaten so much junk food over the weekend I must have gained an exorbitant amount of weight. Badness Dx
This is my last week of school for the year, sans an exam. I still have an animation to produce and journals for two classes to digitalise so I'm starting to feel really, really stressed. Neither flash nor animation studio want to be kind to me so to make sure it's done I'm having to hand render the animation, which I will then upload into flash and add effects to. It's going to suck but if the program wont co-operate I don't have much choice.
I'm looking forward to having some time off of school. I haven't been able to concentrate on anything else all semester and that's starting to wear on me. I can't remember the last time I produced some art of my own. Once school is done, I can clean up the study, re-paint it and then get my new desk top (27" screen, mmmm <3) set up. It's going to be fun playing sims on such a huge screen *_*
I worked out my elective program from this point on. It's a combination of visual arts and history units. I've come to realise I prefer traditional mediums over digital ones. The unit I'm most looking forward to is Printmaking, which will allow me to produce my own steel-plate etchings.
I wanted to silk paint scarves for christmas but that's going to be damn expensive to set up. I might have to wait or work something else out. I'm considering painting sets of glasses instead. Of course I may end up getting a job (I'm still hopeful for a christmas casual position) and then I'll be able to purchase ~whatever I want~.
Oh and I totally miss moo. It's like "Well, it's almost been two years. Time for another visit." Of course that's not going to happen xD
I could ramble on but I probably shouldn't 8|

I'm in the process of writing two ten minute speeches, studying for my last midterm and scheduling my schedule from hell for next semester. D:

I'm trying to pass Chemistry, laughing at Calculus, and writing an essay every two weeks. I'm keeping busy I guess. Uh?

I am doing a Masters in Creative Writing. I am trying to finish a novel. I am writing a television script for a BBC competition. I am trying to sort out my head. I am having to look after my nephew with my mam and dad because my sister is trying to sort her head out. I am becoming lazy and pathetic and I hate it, although it is Winter so it's okay I suppose. I am still not ever wanting a job but might have to though I hope my head will be better so I can get one. Not that I want one. I am currently also writing some essays for University. I am also back on Leo and hating it. I am also not doing anything Graphic-related for a very long time.
I am also addicted to The Sims Social on Facebook. I am also very much alone in Real Life because my only friend has buggered off to Germany. I am also not in a very good place.
I am also very cold right now. I am also starting to get a numb bottom. I am also panicking over Christmas presents. I am also never on here. I am also not knowing why.

Ooh, master's degree! Fancy. Good luck with that script and novel! I hope things get better for you soon. Anne--I'd love to see before/after pics of your study (and of any artistic endeavors)! I must live vicariously through others' home renovations because I can't do anything here (renting). I've been considering wall decals or origami on the wall, not sure what exactly to do yet. Pity about Flash not playing nicely, hand rendering sounds like quite the pain. Lauren: how many credits will you be doing next semester? Sometimes you just gotta pull through a heavy semester so the rest are okay. Or you might consider summer classes if that's an option. Sorie: looking forward to pics! Busy isn't bad! Hopefully you're leaving space for happy funtimes. I was browsing classes for next (and my last!) semester... I'm torn between keeping it low-key and having lots of free time or choosing random classes that seem interesting. I was actually considering an art class, but I don't know how time consuming it'll be. :/ Also, I have an interview for med school next week. Just got a suit, now I need a top to go underneath. Hate shopping. DX

I shall, when I have some. Largely I don't follow development and then don't really care about the finished product xD Probably should be more focused! Yeah hand rendering is annoying. However a friend has said if I do the keyframes she'll tween in photoshop so it should all be fine. I have a new update... My chickens had ducklings! ... Yes they were duck eggs originally, but the mother hens were brooding one egg between two chickens and when we took that away they were brooding nothing for a ridiculous amount of days. So we gave them some duck eggs to hatch. Duckie Victoria managed to hatch 4 ducklings, though unfortunately at least one was taken by either the cats or mean old crows before we even knew they were here (were were not anticipating them for another couple of days or they would have been in a safer place). Victoria also happens to be a moron and was more interested in quacking like a loon then paying attention to the babies (in other words, she was trampling them). Luckily the chickens were happy to have some more babies. I received marks back for my history essay. I received 68%, which is a Credit and just shy of Distinction (Our marks are as followed: Pass, Credit, Distinction and High Distinction).

Exhausting.
*can't think clearly enough to think of what's been going on with her as she is feeling ill after volunteering at an arboretum early in the morning two days in a row in the cold without anywhere near enough sleep.*

Oh yeah, I saw that on FB! What a silly duck. Your chickens--do you use any eggs for cooking or just hatch them? Kudos on that essay. I also got some test scores back last week and they came out pretty well, yay! Monkey: Ouch. D: What are you doing at the arboretum? I hope you feel better!

I was there fulfilling volunteer requirements for a class project. Unfortunately, it also required getting up two hours early (and you know I didn't go to sleep on time) and working while it was still below freezing. I did enjoy the work though. On Friday, I was planting some native species in their entry garden and pulling out thistles (though I don't enjoy that so much after the rash starts developing xD). Today, I was mulching the peony gardens. I have this thing about mulching... I love it. I like the smell of mulch and the pretty dark color and I enjoy spreading it. It was ESPECIALLY FUN today because it was so darn cold. The decomposing wood creates heat of course and so as we were spreading it, it was steaming. xD *gargled some cayenne pepper water and is a little clearer in the head now*

Yeah we used all the eggs for eating. However the duck has roam of the whole backyard so eventually she catches on that we're taking her eggs and finds a more sekrit place to lay them. That leads to a buildup of eggs and then we don't want to eat them in case she's been sitting 8| Congratz <333
Oh Moo, your'e such a hippie <3 I love it xD

I like the smell of mulch... I really just like plant smells. Well, some. My college is literally within a redwood forest, so just walking to class is like a swirling pool of lovely natural scents. I also frequently see deer roaming around campus. It's really pretty nice. It's also starting to actually hit autumn weather, and seeing as I'm not in the boiling pot that is southern California anymore, it means I get actual cool weather. (:

Your campus sounds really pretty. D8
One thing I miss about my old university campus is seeing deer wandering around. That was always nice. But now I see a lot of squirrels.

All I have on my campus is pigeons. But I don't really have a campus either. It's just buildings scattered around Chicago. Which makes me sort of sad that we don't have a pretty quad or something. Also, smell of mulch = ♥ And Ice: I'm doing 15 credit hours...but it's two english, two journalism and an economics class. My fingers are going to be glued to the keyboard with all the papers I'm writing. I'm hoping to take a math and biology courses over the summer at a community college back home, for cheap-ness and less work load.
