I'm always blown away by people's ideas and talent!
Also, I purchased felt yesterday, to attempt the wall flowers from the second post.

So I finally got the pictures off my phone to show you what I've done! Cutting felt properly is a lot harder than it seems. Pre-pinching petals before sewing them. First layer done! I'm halfway through the second. I was hoping to have it ready for my friend's baby shower tomorrow but I don't think that'll happen... glue takes a day to dry and I planned to just glue them to the backing. And the rosette! The glue keeps coming apart though, I think I'll use tape instead of the gluestick. I also have one that's green and one from blue/gold wrapping paper.

This looks quite amazing! Felt is a tricky medium. More then it rightly should be.

*_* Better late than never, I suppose? But I agree with Anne, the few times I have worked with felt, it ended up being much more of a project than I had expected.

Yeah, I was having a bit of trouble keeping the petals symmetrical... eyeballing it was not effective

I found this browsing the internet and thought of Ice and this lovely thread. I figured I'd share since it's been rather quiet around here for a while.
