I'm registered to vote here! It was the most exciting thing about turning eighteen.

I want to vote. I feel young around here.
Some guys were trying to lower the Massachusetts voting age to 14. o.0

No, they're not. It's actually understandable. They want the people who will be most effected by the actions of the new administration to have more of a say in it, but I think fourteen is too young.

I've been thinking 16 forever. Mostly because that would give me the right to vote in November. XD

That's a neat idea to get people to vote! Re: fourteen - that's ridiculously young Do they even think about politics and stuff at that age? The elections are getting ridiculous in terms of campaigning, though. T_T

14 is too young and 16 is well... Most people that age would be thinking about their parties not who is running the country. I'm happy with 18 here, I just think we should go with the Aussie idea and fine people for not voting. It's the only way the politicians will stick to their guns and promises.

I think 18 is a good age, although people aren't particularly logical or knowledgable even in their late 20's anymore. Still, anything younger and you increase the chance of people voting for whoever their friends are voting for, not because they agree or disagree with policy or care how well the candidate would run the country.

I suppose 18 is probably the best age for it. And if it were to go any lower, there could be like, a test or something. XD
