My desk! It's kind of dark, sorry, but you can see my TV, some dead roses that are really dead now, my some books, some other books, some origami cranes, my computer, my iHome and iPod, my DS, and my cell phone is sitting on top my copy of the Constitution. Bookshelf! This book shelf holds my novels. You can see the edge of my door that needs more stickers, I love it. There's my globe, my monkey trio, my music box, my cone incense burner and a tiny Buddha in the cinder block. My CDs are also there. I haven't bought CDs since I was a kid so those mostly suck. |D More Books! These are mostly reference books and non-fiction, but there's also Grimm Fairy Tales, and Tolkin on the end there. That light pink cone is my Kone Vacuum and the yellow is my fan. The white bag with the skull holds my Batman comics. xD My Bed! My cat, Snafu, sits on the bed next to Von Squish. The photo board holds pictures of my cats and dog. The little shelf has another little Buddha on it. You can also see a nice patch where I put a hole in the wall. :3 At some point I'll have to remember to get another photo of my closet and the whole room so you get a sense of how small this is. xD

Your room is really awesome. 0_o And you are extraordinarily neat. My desk isn't even visible, because there's so much stuff on it. Same thing with my floor. xD I tried organizing my books, but I'm always taking them off the shelf and then leaving them on the floor, so that didn't help very much.

Your room is beautiful. D: It never occurred to me how appealing black walls are. Hmm...
And... are those curtain folds I see behind your desk?

Yup, those are curtains behind the desk. Floor length despite the window being not. xD

I luff that room...soooo much. *can't express her love of boldly/darkly colored walls enough*
If I can get a 'dozer to come into my room, to clear out some stuff, I'll take pictures as well. *doesn't even have a desk because it would just become utterly cluttered*

My room is a little girl's room, since my mom and custom painted the walls when I was seven or so and we haven't since. But, supposedly, once my mom moves out of the house I can move my room up to he attic and paint all the walls gold (there's a window in the attic facing the river, and it the walls would look really gorgeous at sunset). I think that in my mom's new apartment, I'll either paint all the walls white except for one wall, and I'll paint it bright orange/perhaps make a mural, but I don't know. I just want a change in scenery.

Yep. Which I like, but gets in the way of things sometimes.

I really ought to do one... but my mom took the camera back to LI so I have to wait until I get back there, because I don't know how to transfer pics from my phone to the computer. XD I shall take pictures of my bedroom in Long Island once I get back. But I have to second Anne on the lighting thing... so dark! D: I've got a thing for bright colors.

Jo lives in their attic. *thinks attic rooms are fantastic* I also have a little girl's room Two shades of pink and the carpet also alternates from a light shade to a dark depending on what angle you look at it from. I used to like drawing pictures on it with my fingers xD I have a white with pink handle child's shelf/drawer unit thing (not uberly small or anything but that's what it is) and the wardrobe matches that, though was bought later and is easily an adult unit as well. We did it up when I was about nine and just hahven't had the funds or motivation to change it - I never like one style enough to completely change my room and since I don't hate what I have, I just leave it that way.

Pink isn't bad in moderation. For a while I thought a darker gray paint on walls with some contrasting and brighter colors - green or pink, for example, on the molding would have been nice on my wall... and then I was debating about a darker pink since there's wood trim. I don't think I'll ever do anything though - I've never decorated my room yet. I do like drawing on carpets, too.

Its quite a neutral pink so it's not too horrible and the white really offsets it. I'm not too fond of a base colouring of grey with colours. If its quite light and closer to white or so close to black its almost indistinguishable I don't mind, but the medium to slightly dark greys never look right '.'
Sometimes I still do it with my toe when the carpet in the loung eis freshly vacuumed xD

Yuppers, I am in ze loft. The walls are all slanted and it's such a pain to put posters up because they fall off without a lot of blutak. I took a lot of my posters down, though...
My carpet is icky and... icky. I need a new one but meh.
Also: My bedroom is an absolute tip, plus I only go up there to sleep now, xDD *Much too cold* I'll do it once I get the motivation to actually tidy the rest of my stuff up.

My carpet is black and white speckled, very ugly, and not soft at all. :\ When my parents bought the house before I was born, the hardwood in my room was messed up. I suppose they don't have very good taste in carpet.
