Wow, it's been a while since much activity has occurred here.
Moving along, how have your holidays been? Did Christmas lead to many goodies?

Hi! I was thinking the same. I don't celebrate Christmas, so no goodies on my end, but it has been a nice break. How about you, anything nifty under the tree? Also, I have discovered this piece of entertainment: neopianangst.tumblr.com/I have also (via that site) discovered that mutant Kaus are actually legitimately freakish. Most pets actually look like the originals, but this... it's Cthulhu Also, I miss the days when solid PBs weren't ridiculously priced. 2.1m for a white paint brush. D: Pirate is cheaper. What is this?!

The white paint brush.... Wow...... INFLATION!!!
The mutant Kau makes me laugh. I can't even tell what the reddish portion to the right of its hooves and below its Davy Jones mouth is.
Christmas has been lovely, especially now that I'm out of high school, so my break is longer. (: It's been another year of getting money and gift cards, so nothing terribly exciting (although, for the record, I did try to mix it up and ask for other physical gifts, but no dice).

Man, that's insane. I had no idea everything had inflated so much.
That Kau is so creepy. But it's awesome. I believe that's a part of his tail.
That sucks Jen. Lazy gifters are lazy. I didn't receive anything off of my list, but I did receive a lot of neat things and $200 toward the PS3 I asked for. The toppers this year would be the Wacom Inkling, Janome sewing machine and this neat smelling Wedding Tea. I love smelling that thing.

Oh yeah, how's the Inkling working out for you? Oh! I forgot, we did have Eid (Muslim holiday, gift giving involved) and my brother got me this awesome white trench coat I'd been eying. Now that he's working, he has a tendency to buy us random things! The other day Aeropostale had a giant sale ($50 hoodies down to $10) so he got us stuff and now I have a new hoodie, sweats, and pjs. Oh, oh, oh! First acceptance to medical school. Not my top choice, but now I don't have to worry.

I haven't really played with it yet: I just haven't felt like it.
That's pretty cool. My brother has always been very generous, but not quite that spontaneously.
Congrats! I hope you get your first choice.

I would expect them to be rare and expensive and I'm not too keen on paying. xD

Ice, that's awesome! I still hope you get your top choice, but I'm excited for you nonetheless.

^Those are pretty cool! I got to sit around for a bit last week making paper cranes for a cancer patient and thought of you. I quite enjoyed myself and was pleased with how quickly and easily being able to make them came back to me. Read the directions once and could do it from memory again.
You should come here for med school. 8|

Cranes are awesome! I <3 origami I actually did make a rosette today, from wrapping paper a friend had used on a gift. It's a really pretty paper, a dark blue with lighter swirls and gold stars. ^_^ Not sure how well it'll hold up on a wall, but I'll figure that out and then take a pic maybe! That would be cool if I did, wouldn't it? I do want to meet you guys. I sort of went by name brand on out of NY schools - Ivy Leagues and places like Johns Hopkins.

Oooo, I'd like to see it!
Okay, I was going to say that U of M is ranked pretty highly as medical schools go... and it is... but it's also more expensive for out-of-staters than John's Hopkins (which is more highly ranked, of course). xDD

^ Wait, legit? (re: more expensive than Hopkins for out of staters). State schools charge kind of crazy tuition for out of staters, I guess it's sort of a repellent
